Sign needed here to point to Gatwick Airport. The path to the west looks like the correct route, which it isn't.
Junction needs a cycle route off the busy road eg left hand pocket with separate traffic light phase to reach Russells Crescent.
This whole section of route 21 is a national embarrasment. Hopelessly flooded and muddy yet its the Avenue Verte from Paris to London! Needs a massive improvement with proper drainage and rideable surfaces, not mud baths!
Muddy surface starts at the edge of the road which is dangerous as someone will fall off into the traffic here. Needs a better surface for the first few meters of the bridleway as a minimum and ideally the whole path needs a much better … [more]

[Image taken 16.11.23] Crichton Avenue, looking towards Wigginton Road, York. The mobile temporary lights unit massively impacts on a busy insufficiently wide shared use route. This is a blind corner on a steep slope. There’s no sign to say … [more]
Cycle path is being abused by local resident to drive car to park on grass by house. Replace the bollards and have a firm word with them.
Bollard in the centre of the path as you come round a corner. Remove as serves no purpose and is a hazard.
Upgrade the footpath to a properly surfaced bridleway to enable residents to cycle into St Neots from Rookery Road.
Hedges to north of shared use pavement are very overgrown in places forcing people on cycles and foot too close to speeding cars using the road as a rat run to avoid congestion on the A421. Prune the hedges.
Phasing of the lights does not allow enough time for cyclists to clear the bridge before the opposite flow starts leading to conflict as witnessed today.
Allow shared use of the pavement to enable families on cycles to reach the traffic light controlled crossing of this very busy road.
Very poor muddy bridleway which ought to be a good safe cycle route to Shuttleworth museum. The Shuttleworth estate should give this a proper surface.
Very poor muddy bridleway which ought to be a good safe cycle route to Shuttleworth museum. The Shuttleworth estate should give this a proper surface.
Bridleway is very muddy badly maintained where it crosses the field but is advertised as a route to Shuttleworth for visitors.
Where the cycle path joins the footpath the surface of the shared path is narrow and slippery. Needs a proper wide surface as it's part of the Biggleswade Green Wheel.
Re paint contraflow markings which are invisible so drivers know people on cycles can use this road and enforce the 20mph limit for cars rat running along here.
Bridleway is very narrow due to vegetatation which needs cutting back. Poor muddy surface needs improving.
No safe crossing of the road from the permissive path to the cycle path. Needs a formalised crossing and dropped kerbs.
Need a safe crossing with island to get people on cycles and foot from the bridleway to the cycle path on the north side of the road.
Share use pavement is very narrow as the hedges on the west side need a major prune. The path is only effectively one bike wide and pushes people too close to fast cars.
Very muddy section here on Etonbury Green ring cycle path. Needs mud removing and resurfacing with better drainage.
Remove the cyclists dismount rule and give walkers and cyclists priority over cars at this car park entrance.
Cycle path doesn't actually go around the corner here. Markings on the road direct cyclists onto the A road until the access point is reached 50 metres on. Needs a wider shared use pavement to be safe for families and children.
NCN1 is a narrow muddy strip 30cm wide so horrible cycling and completely useless for anyone on more than 2 wheels. Fails the accessibility test and desperately needs a much wider hard surface.
NCN1 in a very poor condition with surface worn away down to the membrane layer under the foundations of the path. Needs a proper smooth accesible surface for all users.

To access the bin from the pathway pedestrians have to cross the cycleway. The bin previously was beside the pavement on the grass which was a better location.
Paths are shown on the Kettering cycle map as shared use but no actual signs on the paths. Make it clear the paths in this area can be legally used for cycling to encourage use

Upgrade bridleway with good surface to creat a safe off road path into Kettering via Wickstead Park.
Create a direct cycle path from here via the station car park to the station to create a more direct route.
Signs needed to make it clear if this is a cycle path or not. Also too narrow for safe use with pedestrians.
Cycle path has a poor surface so not easily useable by disabled buggies and wheel chairs. Needs resurfacing all the way to the west end at Minerva Business park.
Cycle path has a poor surface so not easily useable by disabled buggies and wheel chairs. Needs resurfacing all the way to Ferry Meadows.
Improve the route across the road here from the cycle path to the stub of Oundle Road which is the cycle route. Marked formalised crossing point needed.
Extend cycleway over A1 bridge and beyond the slip road to the A1 so east bound people on cycles do not conflict dangerously with cars.
Allow cycling on the footway to enable people on cycles to avoid crossing the slip road to the A1. Very wide junction with no protection for people crossing in front of cars.
Bridleway has a horrible muddy surface but could be a very useful link out to villages to the north east
Need a safer crossing of this busy road to enable people on cycles to exit the quiet estate roads and reach the cycle path on the east side of London Road. A toucan crossing needed.

Road is far too heavily trafficked for safe cycling. Needs a segregated cycle path along all of Shephall Way.
Modal filter being used for car parking so you have to cycle on the pavement to get past the parked cars. Yellow lines needed to ensure a clear path through for people on cycles.
Remove the barrier between the byway and road to make cycling easier for those on tandems and with cycle trailers. Poor.
Byway Open to All Traffic but in reality a narrow tarmac path, muddy in places in desperate need of vegetation management. Poor.
