There's a bit of a scrappy route here from Ekin Road, across the verge, cycleway and Wadloes Road to the link between houses to Ditton Fields.

A little bit of filtered permeability with the recent housing development. There's a bollard and a dropped kerb.

Just another new modal filter in Waltham Forest. Welcome to calm Capworth Street! 👍 @wfcycling @WeSupportWFMH @TwoWheelsGoodUK @Labourstone https://t.co/2xfAwz4GCX Similar in Cambridge: #9550
No motor vehicles - much better for cycling now (compare #4366 and #4362) the chicanes are absent, but violation by mopeds mean residents are asking for physical measures.
The Surrey Street alignment into what was Stirlingfauld Place is now blocked by the new development. Just as well the South City Way will provide a cycle route on the parallel main road then!
Speeding, pavement parking and rat running, just a typical Manchester street. Just posting 20 mph speed limit signs is not enough on a wide residential street. https://twitter.com/juststepsways/status/709841734285598720 … [more]
Filtered Impermeability ... A good short cut avoiding lots of bus stops. Civil Enforcement effectively deals with cars parked here
There is a new post on our website, titled 'Filtered permeability - not an alien concept' https://t.co/Uau5Ovut03 http://t.co/GjpnIugtRp
This is filtered permeability, where motor traffic has been prevented from cutting through this estate, but cycle users and pedestrians can get through. This allows cycle users to reach Cradley Heath town centre more easily than if they … [more]
Cycle cut-through opposite Shire Hall. This used to be a through-road, now blocked to motor traffic. The pavement was built-out on both sides to make it easier to cross on foot now the road was gone, but cyclists can still get through. … [more]
Perhaps this was once a segregated route, but the main effect of this post is to slow down cyclists on this blind corner.
Poor permeability at the end of Swifts Corner - this dropped kerb and several right angles to get to Cambridge Road.
Impossible one way street in Manchester. Useful 2 way route for cyclists see also #48790 and #48787 This is quite near the coop HQ
Kreyenbrück's residential streets are composed of many culs-de-sac with paths linking to a backbone network for walking and cycling.
Whitehall Close could be a useful short cut, and save cyclists having to negotiate Whitehall Road, but as it is, it is a pain. Note the desire line of pedestrians (and possibly cyclists) using the crossing point to the right.
Nice wide shared-use pavement giving good permeability between St Leonard's Road and the new housing estate of Lenz Close and Peache Road.
This gate does open briefly to allow staff and students access to Chesterton Community College. But it seems that local residents prefer it to be kept shut at other times. Its quite a long walk / cycle round.
The view from St. Johns Close across Ipswich Road to Bilsdale Close. According to the latest Cycle Colchester map there is access to Bilsdale Close from Ipswich Road. It is plain to see there isn't (see also #30918 and #30919).
No permeability here, despite it appearing so on the latest Cycle Colchester town map. These railings line the road (see #30920) so there is certainly no way through to Bilsdale Close from Ipswich Road.
