The path to Freeland Drive is rather narrow, and has steps at the far end, and is not suitable for cycling.
The shared footway continues alongside the A8, away from the Red Smiddy Roundabout.

Update: As of October 2023, the bushes have now taken over the full width of the path, and users (and there are some) have to push them aside to continue along the path.
