On "drop-off Sunday" (beginning of term) Kings Parade was reduced to one lane by parents delivering their offspring and belongings to Corpus Christi College. To give way to oncoming traffic the taxi KX56 HHV (license 158, see also #19068? and #19484) reversed into a cyclist. According to one witness, it was not the taxi driver's fault, as "he reversed out of courtesy". A view apparently shared by the police, though the taxi driver agreed to pay for the repairs.
