[Image taken 20.2.23] Wigginton Road (east side, close to junction with Crichton Avenue, looking north), York. Iconic clock in the Sustrans land that houses the Wigginton Road Link (as I call it - #191294). The cyclist in the background will turn off into it and join the Foss Islands Path. I'd like to see this path widened and upgraded into a shared use route to a toucan crossing over Wigginton Road to/from Crichton Avenue. If the cyclist were heading for Crichton Avenue not Wigginton Road southbound or Foss Island Path to the east of the city he'd be able to cycle towards the camera position. Much more straightforward and with improved sight lines and an increase in safety and convenience. Other image here today and links: #191269.
