UPDATE March 2023: #192333.] [Image taken 28.2.22] Knavesmire, York. The wooden barriers (see: image from 2017: #90867, image from 2021: #168478) have been removed. This is much more permeable - quadricycles and trikes use this part of NCN65 - but what is the long-term plan here? The nonsensical message: "Danger! Road Crossing. Cyclists Dismount" has been replicated/transferred to this sign in the direction away from the crossing. Plus, the removal of the previous chicanes has left a hazard, plus sandbags create further issues: #179513. Other images today: #179508 and links
