[Image taken 17.7.21] Bootham Crescent junction with Bootham, York. There is no cycle parking along this route. Yet space has been found and provided Tier products. Misguided. When TfL planned the Cycle Superhighways it recognised cycle parking would be needed along the routes. CYC seems not to have had such insight. This is disappointing in view of the plans for "A new 3.2 km radial route with cycle lanes from the Rawcliffe Bar Park and Ride site along Shipton Road to Bootham Bar" - the A19 Cycle Scheme democracy.york.gov.uk/documents/s156489/Annex%202%20-%20Project%20Outline%20-%20A19%20Cycle%20Scheme%20-%20v1.3%2020012022.pdf and democracy.york.gov.uk/ieListDocuments.aspx) Other Tier images today: #172110, #172114.
