[Image taken 4.7.21] York rail station, York. Car park still signposted as closed. But today there is at least a gap through and no cyclists dismount signs. Images from yesterday see #171329 and links. Once through the visible exit, it was solid motor vehicles (and the smell of pollution was strong). I could not have joined the queueing traffic - it was too congested. Did no-one foresee that the need to pick up, drop off and to wait would simply get relocated if the car park were closed? How did that ambulance manage to cut through the congestion to get in? I pushed my cycle on the pavement to reach Station Road and be able to continue my journey. Other images today see: #171368 and links.
