[UPDATE: #174511] [Image taken 6.6.21] Bootham Terrace, York. The railings to/from the underpass below the York-Scarborough rail line have been removed. See previous layout: #36893. The covid signs see: #168739 have gone too. Perhaps other changes are planned. I'd like to see the area of this crossing raised, dead slow signs, further signage alerting drivers to the presence of people crossing and to tell motorists they are not the apex users here, and perhaps even coloured tarmac from this side to the other to reinforce the message this is a link for people to cross - such as at the University: #170178.
