[Image taken 25.5.21] Marygate car park, York. Opening closest to Bootham that links the car park and the cycle-ped-Tier hire cycles/scooters mobility scooter-wheelchair route to/from Scarborough Bridge/riverside routes/schools/Bootham. If people move the cones and the space is parked on the link becomes too narrow to be practical see: #169574. Is this a suitable location for noticeboards for the users of the Bootham Terrace-Scarborough Bridge link? At a right angle to the fence, with the backs to the car parking space occupied by the dark vehicle? They need to be visible such that people can see what they are/who they are relevant to. They will need to be lit. They also need to be where there is space for people to be able to look at them safe from the movements of motor vehicles but also without creating a pinchpoint for users of the cycle-ped route. They need to be robust - people may need to lean their cycles on them. The could create community - bring people into conversation. More images exits here today: #169691, #169692, #169693, #169694, #169695, #169696, #169697; noticeboards: #169685 and links; electric vehicle charging points: #169688. Tier hire cycles/scooters see: #164663
