[Image taken 24.5.21] Marygate car park, York. Tier e-scooter/e-cycle bays have moved into the car park. Perhaps for the duration of the works around the replacing of the Lendal Bridge floodgates (see: #166252). Will people be confused or put off by the location next to a huge Pay Station sign. The car parking space to the right of the bays is not protected. Will there be room to get a scooter/cycle in out when it is in use? Motor vehicles and hire machines could get damaged. Car parks are hazardous, polluted places. Random, sudden movements, limited sight lines: I don't consider this an appropriate location for anything other than motor vehicles.
