[Image taken 6.5.21] Marygate car park, York. Gap 3 of four (see: #168555) linking the car park with the cycle-ped-wheechair route through it. However this one is unprotected (compare with: #168558, #168560). Therefore cars will block it. This gap needs to be kept open for people wanting to avoid the bottom of the steep slope see: #168554, #168563. The dashed markings are parking bays for Tier hire scooters and cycles (see: #164663 and links). The gap on the far side is too narrow for people to get through conveniently, comfortably and reliably (see: #157642). All images today: #168548 and links.
