Mock-up of a idea to improve access to the footway cycle parking.
Motor vehicles often park right up or overhang the buildout and this creates problems of access to our front door as these other photos show: #6501 and #106944.
The ramp would be something like the one at Trumpington Street #155073 or another example is Marmora Road where there's a dropped kerb within the build-out at #155071.
The marked parking bay is 6.5 metres long, which means that a ramp 1.5 metres wide could be sited here and still leave enough length for a standard car parking space of 5 metres.
